Masculin, Féminin: Men’s Fragrance for Women

29 Dec

This comes as something of a shock to me, but according to BellaSugar men “love it when we wear fragrance that smells masculine.” I am initially skeptical of this claim, leaning towards clean, feminine scents like Chloé, Issey Miyake’s L’Eau d’Issey, Marc Jacobs’s Daisy, and Lolita Lempika’s Fleur de Corail, but after reading BellaSugar’s review, Paco Rabanne’s 1 Million men’s fragrance seems wearable, even sexy.

Paco Rabanne’s 1 Million is described as a masculine woody scent, softened with tones of mint, lavender, and vanilla, making it “extremely wearable” as a Fall/Winter women’s fragrance. The reviewer is a testament to this claim after wearing the scent to a holiday party and being complimented by one man that she smelled like “sweet potatoes and all things good.” I’m not mad at that.

Plus, it comes in a pretty gold brick atomizer that could double as a paperweight or a bookend.
